There is a world out there waiting to be explored. I am often overwhelmed by how much I have a passion to do, but it is a working economy of time. It is how the time is managed and prioritized. Sometimes, it helps to write down all that I want to do. Many times, I feel as if I am only scratching the surface.
If I had more time and more energy, I would;
Pray more
Read more
Study the Bible more
Write more: In my journal, free write, sermons, articles…maybe a book?
Read more Comic Books
Listen to more music
Play more Video Games: Call of Duty, Overwatch, and FIFA17—not to mention Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy
Run more
Rest more
Spend more time with Baseball Cards
Research more Genealogy
Take more Photos
Spend more time with people
Practice my trombone more
Color in a coloring book more
I want to do all of these things—15 items on my list. If I did them the way I would like—I would have no time and no energy left. I would certainly not have time for a job or a family. So, I have to prioritize those which are most important for me. I pick those things that give me the most happiness.
It is interesting what is not on that list.
Television
Movies
I prefer to make my own adventures.
Have you made a list of things that you would like to do, but don’t have time? Things that you would like to do more?
Prioritizing helps me accomplish at least something that I want to get done. Who knows? One day I may be able to do it all—or at least try.
