As we become more and more comfortable with our new surroundings, the weeks are also beginning to fly by.
On Tuesday, I walked through the USASMA Memorial Chapel where I am the Senior Pastor. I enjoy going by there and getting inspiration as I visualize the future.
Wednesday nights, I have time with Mary Catherine. This week we enjoyed playing video games together. This will be a fun opportunity for us each week!
As I walked out of the second-floor balcony of one of the classroom buildings, early Thursday morning, I was moved by the beauty of the early morning here in El Paso. It was a cool morning and the sun was just beginning to rise high. It was a nice moment to take a quick photo.
We gathered together as a family to watch “The Peanuts Movie” on Friday night. We have to take away Jenny’s stuff animals while we watch and eat pizza. I quickly grabbed a photo of her bear “Daisy Bear” that I gave her during our last trip to El Paso. She has grown very attached to this little bear, even as it gets more and more worn out.
This morning, the Fort Bliss Fire Department was training behind our house. As they rolled up their hoses, I took Jenny by to watch. The firefighters invited her to look at the truck and sit in the seat. She even got a change to blow the horn! It was a big treat for her.
