I wake up and read the newspaper nearly every day. I understand that I am a little “old school” and swimming upstream in the technological world—but I love the newspaper.
So, here are ten reasons I like the newspaper—in no particular order:
With the newspaper,
1. I don’t have to listen to the commentators yell at each other.
2. I can read what I am interested in and ignore what I really could care less about.
3. I don’t have to hear the same news story—particularly the ones that I am not interested in—twenty times.
4. I don’t have to plug it in—just fold and read.
5. I get a more in-depth article about what I am reading, at my pace, and in the time I have to read it.
6. I don’t have to be distracted by pop-ups or pause for a commercial.
7. I get a wider variety of stories—including a broader view of my local area.
8. I don’t have to wait for the computer to boot up.
9. I can take what I read, analyze what I read, and decide for myself what I think.
10. It is simple.
