One of the exciting aspects of new technology is the ability to share in the experience of others. This is one of the reasons I blog—to share my life with you, it is also the reason I do Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. But, now, we are able to follow a person through their mission trip. We can see the countries that we are praying for through other’s eyes! If you can’t take a mission trip right now—you can get a view of someone going to a country and seeing the country for you.
This week is one of those opportunities.
Compassion International has a team of bloggers traveling to Peru from November 13 through November 17, 2012. During this time, you can experience what it is like to walk through the country of Peru. While you are reading, you can pray for the people who live in Peru and the bloggers as they see areas that we need to know about so that we may pray more specifically for the people of Peru.
This week, I challenge you to read the blogs of the people that are on this trip:
I also challenge you to follow them on Twitter, through this link.
Take time this week to follow the mission trip to Peru…and be sure to pray as they see how we all may take part in ending poverty.
