It has been one of those weeks of either being in the office or being in the room. Late nights and earlier morning do help the days move faster, but it makes it difficult to find interesting photos every day for Instagram. Somehow, I still managed to post every day.
Sunday was a slow day where I was able to enjoy a pot of Teavana tea that was sent to me by Monica. One of the flavors she sent me was “White Chocolate Peppermint”. It was a delicious treat on a great day of rest.
We start every week with Protective Mask Monday. This is one of the ways we stay ready to fight tonight as we carry our bag on our hip with our protective mask at the ready. It also gives ourselves an opportunity to regularly familiarize ourselves with our equipment.
Tuesday, I was checking on some music to download into my iPhone from Spotify, when I saw the message that Spotify was not available in Korea. Thankfully, I have an American iPhone account, somy Spotify account works just fine—but I cannot imagine life without it!
Thursday afternoon, I did walk out of my office to work on my packet for PCS orders. As I was on the way to the TMC, I was invited by a friend to get coffee—I was happy to oblige.
Friday morning was the last run for my running shoes. On my way to the early morning PT formation, I notice that part of the sole was coming off. I have run over 300 miles in these shoes (all but eight were run in Korea). It was sad to see them go, but I am looking forward to the new pair sitting on my window sill.
