Thankfully, the days are getting warmer, so I am getting out more and more. This week, I was able to get out on Sunday and pick up a scoop of ice cream at a local ice cream shop. I had Cookies and Cream and while I was reading my book, I decided to also have a Café Americano.
Tuesday night, I was getting ready for bed when I looked into my hot chocolate container and realized that I would not make it to the end of the week. Needless to say, hot chocolate was on top of my list on Thursday’s commissary trip.
Wednesday night, I sat down to catch up on some comic book reading. I am reading the “Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps” books. It was one title that I haven’t been able to get to yet, so I am getting up to date on all of the “Rebirth” stories.
Thursday night, I walked off post for supper. As I walked by the Uijeongbu Main Stadium, I heard voices and whistles coming from inside a normally quiet stadium. Noticing that there were people playing inside, I found the open door and walked in. I as able to watch what appeared to be a scrimmage soccer game inside the empty stadium. I enjoyed watching the game and the ball was once kicked out of bounds and in my direction. I was able to throw the ball to the staff members—kinda cool way to participate on a random walk through town.
Tonight, I finished my first “Story Journal”. I started writing in this little book on 20NOV17 and have written a little story every single day sense. I cannot wait to see what the next book will contain!
