I am starting a new group of posts. These are stories from the story diary that I write at the end of each day. Stories of things that I have seen or done. I want to wait until they are well past their date so that my diary—which I do not plan to post everything—does not become another blog entry. These are just little stories I’d like to share. I hope to keep them as close to the original vocabulary (right or wrong) as I wrote it in the diary. I hope you enjoy today’s group.
Friendship Avenue
With flags flying on the lampposts along the street along with Poinsettia plants lining the side-walks the CG and the Mayor of Uijeongbu cut the ribbon to Friendship avenue. The Korean Army Band was present with a small group playing ceremonial flourishes.
The Calendar Sync 18NOV16
I walked into the office today because I expected a meeting to take place that was left over from yesterday. I opened my email to find that the meeting had been moved again to1330. When that time rolled around—I was told that the meeting was moved again. At 1430, we finally had our meeting…about the calendar.
Sushi Story 19 NOV16
I was hungry but I didn’t want a hamburger. I saw a “Sushi Story” restaurant. When I walked in, I knew nothing about how to order—or how much I was paying. It turned out to be cheap. The people helping me were patient and kind to me. I only spent $3.
