I was thinking of something to write today—I have some ideas, but I frankly did not have the energy to sit down and write them out. So, when I opened the MS Word app on my iPhone, they prompted me to rate their app.
Now, I gave the app five stars because I really use it a lot. It seems like sometimes I write more in my iPhone that I do on my laptop! That’s an exaggeration, but I do find myself writing with this app often. It is as easy as texting.
The rate request did, however, ask for feedback. The only feedback that I have offer is from my blog writing—where I have my only complaint.
This is what I wrote:
“I do my blogging on word…however, There is not a template on the app for blogs. And once I send the document to my laptop—I have to cut and pace because (unlike earlier versions) I can’t simply convert to a big post format for posting.”
This really is my only complaint. The older versions were very easy to convert and use as a blogging platform, but the software has gotten away from this functionality. I understand their possible reasons why, but those reasons don’t do much to help my situation.
I still recommend blogging from MS Word because they still have a template on the desktop/laptop version, but it is just a little bit more hassle than it used to be. You still cannot beat the word processing functionality that MS Word has to offer.
