As I spend more time in Korea, I am becoming more comfortable with my surroundings as well as in my understanding of how much time I have available. As I stay here longer, I am beginning to find more time to venture out into the sourounding cities and desiring to return to capture this in different formats to tell the stories with others.
So, I am looking forward to creating in different types of formats the stories of the small adventures that I am able to experience.
One of the first ways of telling the stories is through this blog. I am trying to post every Tuesday a story about a recent adventure. I call this “Travel Tuesday” as a way to motivate to tell those stories. Some weeks, I may not have anything or time to post. But, for the most part, this is the day I will be posting photos and stories of recent—mostly Saturday trips into Korea.
Another way I will be telling the story is through Instagram. On my account, Instagram.com/chaplainandrews, I try to capture my life and all of its elements through posting daily. Many of these posts are framed by prompts from Capture Your 365, but definitely not exclusively, because I more concerned with being current and relevant than artistic. I like to make sure the I keep the “instant” in Instagram.
While these two ways are more than enough to keep me busy, I am strongly considering a restart of my YouTube Channel and begin adding video to the way I communicate. I look forward to seeing how this may work for me in the future.
So, yes, I some different format to share my story. I look forward to interacting with you as I go along this journey.
