I recently visited Alpine Texas to attend a FEMA training course. During my visit, I was able to explore the town to find their beautiful train station. The station is several decades old and still holds it’s charm from the railroad traveling days.
The town and the active arts community has dome a wonderful job in maintaining a cozy feel to the waiting area. During my visit, I was able to walk around and the the benches and the art on the walls.
One of the key focal points inside the station was a railroad painting across one entire wall. The station will definitely take you back to those days when the rails where the only way to travel.
Have you visited any train stations recently? Where are they? what did they look like?
