Today, I officially open dustyfile.com. I look forward to having you read what I have deemed as my “digital sketchbook.” After blogging for eight years on comicbookday.com and chaplainandrews.com, I have built up a large amount of blog posts and experience and decided recently to move forward with a new project called dustyfile.com.
If this is your first time reading my writing, I hope that you will take some time and look around–maybe even leave a comment or two. I have many different topics that I have written about through the years. My aim in this project is to build a place where I can place my ideas or sketches. Some of these posts will be physical sketches, some will be photographs, others will be stories–or simply just ideas. The aim is to be interesting to you and to give you an idea of what I am interested in…on that particular day. The aim is also to produce good writing and to tell stories.
For those of you that have been reading since “newsprint and silly putty”, comic book day, and chaplainandrews.com–welcome back! What you will find here is much more of what I have been writing all along–comic books, baseball cards, genealogy, disaster relief, weather, photography, and on and on. You probably know that I get interested in many different ideas–so hang in and try to keep up!
Again, welcome to Dusty File–I look forward to writing and hear more from you!
