Tonight, I read through some back issues of Superman/Batman, where Bizarro was featured. Yes, I new he existed, but I really hadn’t had the opportunity to read a comic where he was heavily involved. (I know that DC is doing more with him right now, but those books haven’t caught up with me yet.)
I really don’t see the appeal that Bizarro has. Is it the history?–he has been around for awhile. Is it the creativity?–I’ll give that to them, for the first couple of stories; the creativity and novelty is a little lost now. Is it just part of the story?–It is time they end it.
I just don’t see the appeal. His language is hard to read–I really don’t like to think, I like it laid out for me. Further, many times, unless the reader has read all of the stories from the beginning, the stories get confusing. Like what’s up with Bizarro-World?!?
