Why is it…after so many years of happy living, I now feel like I must have a computer science degree just to function.
We have all of these gadgets to make our lives easier—but they don’t work.
Unless we call tech support (today it was Comcast), who puts me on hold to transfer me, to speak to someone in India, who tells me that I called the wrong number.

It is the new reality that we live. I was reminded of one of my Dad’s favorite sayings that another gadget “is just something else to break.†There is wisdom there.
As we clutter our lives with more stuff—not just gadgets, but activities and expectations—we have more to manage, break, and fix.
The simpler we live our lives the less stressful we will become. The less things we own and the less activities we do the more we will have to focus on what we enjoy.
