During our visit to Trier today, I bought Sol Gabetta’s recording of Haydn-Hofmann-Mozart. Sol Gabetta is an Argentine cellist. I happened to walk through the music section of the Kaufhoff Galeria in Trier and saw a display—and on a whim picked her latest CD. It is beautiful—I’ve listened to it the entire night.

The singles retreat for our Battalion this week. We had a wonderful trip to Edelweiss Resort in Garmisch, Germany. On Thursday Morning, we were able to visit the Olympic Ski Jump Stadium that was the site of the 1936 Winter Olympic Games. We actually got to see some ski jumping—without snow.

Ok, I like to play Yahtzee. I really need to write a more in depth blog post about it. But, I really do like to play. I played a lot on a handheld computer game while waiting for flights, convoys, and other waiting games in Iraq. I also enjoy my travel set that I picked up at the Grafenwoehr PX in 2007.

I haven’t really been exposed to Cribbage–we play Canasta here in the Andrews house…but I hear Cribbage is a must play game.

You should try it on the iPhone. You might buy the phone just for the App.
PS,
I like it too, do you play cribbage?
