There is a song that is often in my head and in my heart called “Every day with Jesus”. I think I learned it at Camp Ridgecrest for Boys about twenty years ago, but I was unable to find a web reference for it, so I wanted to write it down all before I forgot it. The first part of the song is a hymn written by Robert C. Loveless. The hymnals that I checked and other sources online only include the first part. The first stanza is copied from the Rejoice Hymnal. The second stanza is typed from memory. The third part is a familiar traditional song, that was available from makingmusicfun.net.
Ev’ry Day With Jesus
(1)Ev’ry day with Jesus Is sweeter than the day before;
Ev’ry day with Jesus, I love Him more and more.
Jesus saves and keeps me,
And He’s the One I’m waiting for; (I learned it: And He’s the One I’m living for;)
Ev’ry day with Jesus Is sweeter than the day before.
(2)Ev’ry day with Jesus I’ll be walking down the kings highway ;
Tell me the old old story, I love him better every day, Hallelujah!
“I will make you fishers of men! If you only follow me!”
Hallelujah! What a savior!
I’m from sin-set, you’re from sin-set, we’re all from sin-set-free!
(Transition)
And that’s enough to make me sing;
And that’s enough to make me sing;
My sins are all forgiven and I’m on my way to heaven!
And that’s enough to make me sing!
Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelujah,
Praise ye the Lord.
Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelujah,
Praise ye the Lord, Praise ye the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord, Hallelujah,
Praise ye the Lord, Hallelujah,
Praise ye the Lord!

I know that song but I just can’t get the tune right in my head.
I also remember the line as being, ” … He’s the One I’m living for”
