In “No One Cares What You Had for Lunch”, by Margaret Mason, the author writes;
“You go a few days without posting, and then a couple of weeks, and pretty soon you have months of empty archives. Presto, your blog is stiff as a corpse.” (p110)
Looking briefly at my archives, you will find–yes, a blog, stiff as a corpse. Granted, you will find a little better record with my other blog, Comic Book Day; but I took a big hit in my move to Germany.
The truth is, this problem doesn’t simply occur only with blogging. It occurs with PT. If you don’t do it often, you will dry up and blow away–or sink to the bottom. It also occurs in our spiritual life–if we don’t make a daily habit of opening the Bible and praying on a daily basis our faith will be small. This is not a “God won’t listen to those that don’t pray everyday”–this is you won’t know how to pray if you haven’t made a habit of praying in the first place.
