As I practiced this week, I have begun to see some of my work begin to pay off on Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
I spent an extra amount of time watching YouTube video tutorials on get better at Call of Duty. These have taught me some techniques that are refining my game.
One of the biggest that I have refined by listening to advice from several YouTube Players was the idea of intentional practice by using the custom game option and turning everything off except for the shooting. This has given me some experience and some growth in my gameplay. Over the last two nights, I had a 70% and 80% EKIA/D ratio.
This is not bad, considering that I am using me against 6 regular level bots with 100% health. I’m not winning yet, but this will change as I practice more and more. I think the idea of practicing 30 minutes a Day is helping me, but it is going to take some time before I’m ready for prime time.
In this week’s Multi-player online matches, I got crushed. But, my average ration is inching higher. From around .40 to about .50 for most games. So I believe the work is paying off. I am going to stick with practicing on weekdays and playing online on the weekends. This will be a good way to gauge my growth—even as I die a lot.
