My son William Daniel turned one today.
I can’t believe that it has been a year. This year Will has lived in America–for about a month, moved to Germany (which took two months), and lived in Germany. He is growing bigger each day. It is exciting to see the pictures Monica sends me to help me keep track of his growth. I’m so proud of him.
His birthday plans are pretty simple. I understand that he is going to have some friends over and then they are going to take the party on the road. The plan, as I understand it, is for the family to attend the FRG (Family Readiness Group) Fast Food Friday party. Now THAT is the mark of a true Army brat, to spend your first birthday with the FRG. Hooah!Â
I can’t wait to hear about Will’s day. During my daily phone call, I heard that he has been busy and happy.Â
He is truly the birthday boy–and I’m the proud daddy.

Happy Birthday. That is great. I am with you on that one keith. I missed both of my kids firsts. The videos and pictures are so sweet to me. Extra prayers for the family today.
