Several months ago, I came to the conclusion that I needed to forgo coffee once and for all. The one aspect of coffee that I really would miss is the social aspect of coffee, so I needed to find alternatives to order at Starbuck and other coffee houses. Of course, there is always Hot Chocolate—which is always a favorite, but I also discovered the Chai Latte.
I have even enjoyed making Chai Lattes at home in these pandemic afternoons when we do not go anywhere at all. I’ve learned that a ¾ of a mug of chai tea (added in two teaspoons of sugar) with ¼ of the mug of frothed milk, topped with Cinnamon Sugar does the trick for me.
Actually, I’m making a mug now.
