This evening is Halloween. I’m writing this after a long day of work. The kids and Monica have all made a quick trip to church to see their friends before trick or treating…and I’m at the home running “base operations” of distributing candy to the neighbors that stop by.
For the moment, I experience quiet.
Quiet to reflect on the day.
Quiet to think about writing.
Quiet to catch my breath.
Quiet to be ready for those four little one to run back inside.
