In our business, we go to lots of meetings. Most of them are indeed helpful because they give everybody an awareness of what is going on to our right and left, so we don’t work in a vacuum.
Often, that is not the case and I leave a meeting wondering why I went. There always need to be a “take away” for the meeting to be successful–chapel included.
So, this week I have begun to out a devotional guide in the bulletin for the people to take home. In the devotional guide there are scripture readings for the week and a blank prayer list. I’m hoping that this little page will be useful in helping Soldiers, Airman and Civilians worship during the week. I believe that having a devotional time daily is a critical task in the life of a Christian.Â
I hope that the “take away” is useful.

I just want you to know how much I appreciate the job you are doing! I have prayed for you by name and your family daily. I pray that the LOrd will give you grace and strength to minister to your soldiers. You are doing a great work and this is one mother of a soldier who is cheering you on. Thank you for your faithfulness and openness to the Lord’s leading in your life.
