My favorite quote is from International Space Station flight director Brian Smith; “Don’t the doctors and Rebecca realize this is NASA and I’ve got a really well thought out, well-planned, meticulous plan, and they are not abiding by it?”

This week, I bought Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 in E flat major “Emperor” and Sonata No. 28. in A major, op. 101 played by pianist Hélène Grimaud. I’ve really enjoyed hearing her play since I first bought her most recent Bach recording.

I was going to make a comment of the new song by Owl City called “Fireflies“. (What does it mean anyway?) However, I discovered Marie Digby. I like her music and her voice. It will be interesting to see what she does in the future.

We were able to see Monica’s ultrasound this week; we will have a new baby in the house in June!
