Wondergirl returns to the fold and she has big issues to deal with. The number one issue being the death of Superboy. It will take time for her to deal with it. I think that the writers do the reader a big favor by dealing with Conner’s death. Death affects the loved ones years after the event. So even one year later, it is appropriate that they are dealing with this issue.Â
My only concern is that I kinda want the writers to move on. The event, while in reality only happened within months of the publishing date of both book, in the DC Nation timeline was a year ago. I want the writers to treat it as such and not as it just happened. There is a year of mourning that has occurred, whether or not they should have showed this is irrelevant, because the powers at DC decided to advance the timeline a year.
