Ted.com has a video by Simon Sinek, in which he explains that in business what you do is not as important as why you do whatever it is that you do.
Can we see the importance of this in ministry?
Why do we evangelize? To get a bigger church? To help people make good choices? Or to rescue the perishing from death and hell.
If it is any other “why” than the last, we are too focused on the what.
We have a lot of different types of ministry that we could dig into the “Why”. But if they are not Biblical—then we are more interested in the what.
