I think I forget the pain that is time change Sunday.
Every year, I think I am going to beat the aches and pains of turning the clock back or forward…but every year, the day later I am reminded that time change really does hurt.
This morning, I woke up about 45 minutes too late at 0445…I don’t know if I slept through my alarm or it somehow did not function. This delay started the day off wrong. Then, by the time I was finished running the tiredness began to take over. I soon began to crave coffee, but I had planned to not get a cup until after lunch when I was near the on-post Starbucks. I am trying my hardest to lower my caffeine intake but needed a special dose this morning.
By the end of the day, I was completely spent—having used all of my energy on talking to others and doing some limited office work. It feels like jet-lag…which is also not my friend.
Hopefully, a good night’s rest will help me recover so I can enjoy the rest of my week. Then I can make a better plan for next spring—because this one didn’t quite work out.
