I started early today to get some friends to the train station for their trip to Frankfurt–to catch a flight to Dallas. Ministry is fun when you get to minister to soldiers–I really enjoyed being able to help. I also found my way to the Idar-Oberstien train station, and back.
Then, we went to Chapel. What a wonderful service! This morning we brought all of the kids with us–Mary Catherine, Elizabeth Anne, and Will. The service is nice and quiet, so the children really were able to enjoy it without getting too active. We even were able to participate in Communion. Of course, when Monica and I sat down with the elements Mary Catherine said “What’s that?” (The favorite expression around our house.)
Now, we wait for the Super Bowl. Kick off is at midnight–and we are even having friends over. Stairwell living is really not that bad, if you figure out the advantages.
