So, Donna Troy messed up and Hercules is here to save the day.Â
I was interested, and kind of annoyed, to see the character of Wonder Woman, Hercules, and Circe letered in block letters when the character was introduced. Why do they do this? I’m sure that it is some recognition device to a) identify a major character, b) for marketing. But, why? Is the reader that out of touch that he/she is not going to recognize that Wonder Woman is a major character?
Another problem I had with this issue is probably caused by the delays. I think that the time has come for the story to move along. Dianna returning to Wonder Woman is taking too long. I know the writers think that what is going on is a big deal, but it isn’t. The story is not revealing anything new in Wonder Woman, nor is it defining the character in anyway.Â
The title of the arc is “Who is Wonder Woman?” but everyone knows that it is Dianna Prince, so get on with the story.
