There was a time when the comic book publishers included a classified ad section.
Lately, as I have been bagging newly bought issues and rebagging some older issues. I have noticed these pages and I wish I would see them again. The ad shown above is from a comic book dated 1992, which too me is too long ago. I enjoyed reading through the pages through the years, even when I wasn’t so wrapped up in the books. Now, I still enjoy see them in the back of Wizard Magazine. I always enjoy the browse, and now, with Internet I can look up the store and see what they have to offer.
These ads are simply another aspect of comics that once defined what they once were, but are now going away. I am sad to see them go.

I stopped reading comic books about 1957. Lately I have looked at some in thrift stores.I go straight to the ads. I will have to figure out why I find the classifieds so fascinating. Nice to find a blog with no profanity.
