I just read an article from my wife on dailydwelling.com where she discusses her reminder the she is not alone. She sayid there:
I don’t have to do anything alone.
Why is it so easy to forget this simple fact?
I am not alone.
I do not have to go through my day alone.
I do not have to take care of sick children alone.
I do not have to discipline my children alone.
I don’t have to do any of it alone.
I have a God who is willing to…in fact, who wants to be with me in this journey.
A thousand miles away, while she was going through quite a trial–I was on a combat patrol. She knew that. I hadn’t called in like I usually do because I was incredibly busy with my work and unable to reach a phone.
I’m sure she did feel alone.
I praise God that I have such a spiritual wife–a wife that can stop and listen to God. And I praise God for being a God who answers.
I encourage you to read her post and remember that you are not alone.

I am also thankful for your wife. She helps me realize almost daily the power of God in my life. She recently posted a series related to the parenting class that she was teaching. I have taken those lessons to heart and it has made a true difference in my relationship with my daughters. And her posts are always so timely for me. Unbeknownst to her when she is writing, she often posts on a topic that hits home for me at just the right time. And, yes, I do try to tell her how much she has impacted my life. 🙂
