Goodreads.com has a great feature to remind me of the books I was able to read or listen to this year. In 2015, I was able to work through 12 books, six of them were read and six were through audible.com. Seeing that I was able to double the amount of books through listening, shows me the power of audio books. Most of those other six were listened to in the first part of the year because my trip to work became significantly shorter and I haven’t spent much time my truck since July. The good thing is, however, I was able to count 12 books this year in my totals.
The books I read were:
Enterprise: The First Adventure by Vonda McIntyre
The Guns of August by Barbara W. Tuchman
Globejotting: How to Write Extraordinary Travel Journals by Dave Fox
Watching Baseball Smarter by Zack Hample
The Millennials: Connecting To America’s Largest Generation by Thom S. Rainer
Daily Rituals: How Artists Work by Mason Currey
The books I listened to were:
Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap… and Others Don’t by James C. Collins
Fascinate: Unlocking the Secret Triggers of Influence, Persuasion, and Captivation by Sally Hogshead
What Stands in a Storm: Three Days in the Worst Superstorm to Hit the South’s Tornado Alley by Kim Cross
On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King
The Creative Habit: Learn It and Use It for Life by Twyla Tharp
Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown
All in all, it was a great year of reading! I look forward to reading even more books next year. Feel free to follow me on goodreads.com to see what I reading in 2016 and I would love to see what you are reading as well!
