This evening, I discovered that chaplainandrews.com has had over 60,000 views since I started it several years ago. I began blogging downrange about comic books in 2006. Recently I put all of my writing about comic books also into this one blog. But, here I am with 60,000 views. As you can see, it goes up and down—that why I don’t look at the stats very often. But it is nice to see milestones.
Today was a day of briefings—one from the Commanding General of Fort Bliss and the other from the Senior Chaplain of Fort Bliss. It was nice to hear all of the information about Fort Bliss, TX. I’m excited to be here and I’m looking forward to seeing what God will do while I’m here.
This evening, Monica and I are having a “computer date”. She is working on some digital scrapbooking pages. And I’ve been working on several different projects—my radio scanner, my comic book inventory, and this blog. Before we left Columbia, as a part of “Black Friday” sales, she was able to get a new laptop, so now we can work on the same table with our computers. Occasionally, we can communicate our love through a google talk chat window. (Just Kidding!) We bought an Applebees appetizer plate along with an order of quesadillas. It is a great way to enjoy our hobbies together.
