The more I read and collect comic books, the more I hate to see comic books that have not been taken care of.
So, the question come to mind.
If you have kept this book for an obviously long time, why didn’t you take care of it? I know that comic books are made to be read, but that doesn’t mean that one just throws it in a corner, writes on the cover, and tears off the back cover!

If you did treat the comic book like trash, what made you think that you would make any money by reselling it? Many times people who don’t read comic books tell me, “those’ll be worth some money one day.” Just because they are old doesn’t mean that they will be “worth some money.” Many older comic book have been in such bad care that they are worth single digits in percentages to what they would be worth if the book was taken care of.

Why did I buy this book from the 50cent sale? I think I bought it so I could write about how poorly the comic book was take care of.Â
