This week started, on Sunday, with a nice easy run along the river. I am happy that the weather is inching upward with that morning’s run around 35 degrees. It is not a huge jump but it is better than in the 20’s. I enjoy my time running along the riverside.
Monday, was a training holiday, as most of us are recovering from the previous two weeks of exercises. I took about an hour and went to the on-post coffee shop for some reading time. I am still reading “A Man Called Ove”. This is a wonderful book, but it is taken me forever to finish due to lack of good reading time. Hopefully, I can wrap it up soon-there is so much out there I want to read!
Wednesday, I came home after a long day and remembered a hymn that was in my heart. “He Keeps Me Singing” is a nice quiet and uplifting song reminding me of the blessings of knowing Christ.
Thursday, I finally took a photo of my new watch. I picked it up from the mail on Tuesday and was able to enjoy it this week as it tracked my run and my steps as I moved around. And, it also tells me the time!
I ended the week with a fun run with two of our office’s KATUSA Soldiers. We have a new KATUSA transitioning into the team, so it was good to get out with them and just enjoy their company.
