Several weeks ago, Monica and I decided to both try Periscope. Periscope is a live video app that allows the broadcaster to stream live video of whatever they see in front of them at that time. The very first weekend we were on, we watched the 24 Hour Disneyland event. It was then that we saw that Periscope was made for watching events, like a visit to Disneyland. Soon after that weekend, I began seeing regular broadcasts from Disneyland from @DisneyPeriscope. Before long, Disney Periscope became my most watched “scope”.
Disney Periscope is not affiliated with the official Disney Parks, but gives a great way to experience the parks in a small way from your cell phone! By watching Disney Periscope, you will see regular “scopes” from Loren as she allows you to see different parts of the park as she walks or rides through. I always enjoy seeing my most favorite places from my recent trip to Disneyland—but I also enjoying seeing the places that we missed! By following @DisneyPeriscope on your Periscope APP (available in IOS and Android) you will also be alerted when other “Disney Scopers” begin their personal tours of other Disney Parks, Attractions, and other events Disney related. Recently there have been scopes from Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disneyland Paris! When you subscribe to @DisneyPeriscope, you can be assured that their team does a very good job of passing on the very best scopes that they see available.
I have enjoyed watching nearly daily broadcasts from “The Happiest Place on Earth” through Disney Periscope and that is why it is my pick of the week!
