One of the things that I am experiencing with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 over Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is that I am becoming better faster.
I remember when I played Infinite Warfare in Korea, I played at least an hour a day—because I had time to do it. It still took me a long time to Prestige. “Prestige” is the highest level of the game, unless you go through it again…and, of course, there are those that have already “Prestiged” ten times. In Korea, I Prestiged twice and was about half way through the third one when I returned to the States and got busy with life.
So far, on Black Ops 4, I am about half way to my first Prestige. It is beginning to go faster, but this time I typically do not go on Multiplayer during the week. I focus my attention practicing on the weekday and games on the week end. Could I go faster if I played during the week? Yes, but that is not necessarily the goal. I am working to be a better long-term player. So, I am spending time during the week dialing in skills that I want to learn in a controlled environment.
So, this week, I was able to have a 3.0 KDR on one game. This shows me that my focus on skills is working.
