Today, I had a cup of Hot Apple Cider from Alpine–I love that stuff!
I made it in pure Iraq style.
1. I found a couple of packets in a care package.
2. Poured water in a Hot Water Pot.
3. Turned on water pot. (nothing happened)
4. Turned off water pot.
5. Flipped the switches. (No lights)
6. Unplugged power strip.
7. Tried a new power strip. (Didn’t fit in the British plug…it was a European Plug: British has 3, European has two rounds prongs)
8. Sat down and thought about how I really wanted a cup of Apple Cider.
9. Considered taking the Power Converter from the microwave. (I know, I could have just microwaved the water.)
10 Asked the supply Sergeant for a new power strip. (He said to ask the Tactical Operations Center (TOC)
11. Asked the Operations Sergeant for a power strip. ( He had one extra left.)
12. Plugged the power strip in. (Power strip didn’t reach the table.)
13. Laid power strip on the ground.
14. Turned on the water pot.
15. Boiled the water. (Turned off the water pot.)
16. Poured the water.
17. Unplugged the water pot.
18. Put the power strip away.
19. Looked for something to stir the mix. (Found a package of plastic forks–last week, I use the handle end of a toothbrush.)
20. Stirred, sat down, and enjoyed my cup of Hot Apple Cider.
