As you might imagine, deployed Soldiers typically have a lot of time on their hands. Yes, we work a lot, but when you finish a 12 Hour day–what else are you going to do for the other 12? This is where Klutz kits come in.
Now, I use the name “Klutz” as an easily identified company that makes many different kits of things to do. There are kits that teach you how to draw, kits that teach you to make paper airplane, kits that teach you how to juggle. I have personally like the kit that teaches how to yo-yo. From the other kits companies that are out there, there are kits to teach you the game of chess or even to play poker. Most of these different brands can be found at most major bookstores–like Barnes and Noble and Books-A-Million and are relatively inexpensive.
These kits can help pass the time and, who knows, maybe teach your Soldier a brand new hobby.
What other kits have you found out there? Which ones do you find most interesting?
