We have a new plant in the house. It was a sweet gift to Monica. It has a nice flower in the center, and it is wrapped very nicely. But, it is a reminder that it must be cared for.
We aren’t really good with plants. Each one has its own needs toward watering. Some need fertilizer, some don’t. It goes good for awhile, but then gets forgotten. Sometimes it gets over watered. And then, when we finally get to a point where we know what we are doing…we pack up our house and move. Most of the times we can’t take the plants with us.
So, I’m looking forward to keeping this one cared for. I need to find something to put under it so I can water it. I’m also looking forward to keeping more plants when spring gets here. Germans have many plants in their windows and available at many different stores. I’m looking forward to going to the home store to buy some pot and indoor garden supplies. I’m also thinking about having plants on our porch.
But I long for the day where I can put plants in the yard permanently and be able to watch them grow from year to year.
