I ran across a tweet the other day by “The Library Owl” @SketchesbyBoze that has kept me returning this idea over and over again.
She said;
“No, I don’t want to go back to “how things were” before. I love the sense of community that we’ve built. I love the crafts and the bread-making and the book-reading. I love that our worth is no longer tied to the amount of money we make. Let’s hold onto this.”
This is my feeling exactly about many things. I don’t want to go back to “the way things were.”
We have a tremendous opportunity to make the world a better place as we begin our return to society.
We can make a difference in how we treat one another.
We can make a difference in how we look out for each other’s health.
We can make a different by “doing unto others as we would want done unto us.”
We could make a difference with the climate.
We can make a difference with global unity.
We can make a difference in how we share the gospel—the truly good news about a Savior!
And we can make a difference by not tying everything to busy-ness or money.
