I have been incredibly busy the last couple of weeks. So much so, that I had to take a break from the blog for over a week to get settled back down.  Sometimes, you have to choose your priorities.
This brings me to a good point to make right now. The Army is moving me this summer to another unit. This will be a great opportunity for me, but may cause some more disruption in this blog. I will be packing up the computer and my comic books. This will be a challenge to write with no resources. I am commited to this blog, but I will forced to have gaps where I don’t write–and, for security reasons, will not be able to fore warn you prior to a gap. Bottom line: hang with me.
I am also pondering what new direction that I will take this blog. My former blog “Newsprint and Silly Putty” grew and developed so much that I needed to secure my own domain–that’s where “comicbookday.com” came from. And Comic Book Day is very similar to the Newsprint and Silly Putty blog–but I’m hoping for more.
I did have time to pick up some back issues at another indoor flea market that I found in town and had a full blown comic book day last Friday. When I had a free moment, I was to tired to write but could shuffle some comic books around and made a big dent in my comic book organization. I’m about done. This will help me bring some variety to the blog, if I now can catch up on my reading.
