It seems like the weeks are becoming more and more normal to me. I am learning the job and getting comfortable in my new home.
Monday: I wrote in my journal. Most mornings, I write in my journal during my prayer time. I use a Lamy Safari fountain pen and a Leuchttrum 1917 notebook. I enjoy using both because of the high quality of each. It makes writing much more enjoyable.
Tuesday: I was able to give a devotion at a Battalion Prayer Run. We collectively ran up a mountain pass and held a devotion at the top. It was a great opportunity to mix physical fitness and prayer.
Wednesday: My belonging arrived on Wednesday. It was stressful at first, but it is so nice to have familiar things around me!
Thursday: I was fairly busy all day at the office. There plenty of different meetings and events that needed my attention. At the end of the day, it was nice to be able to walk back to my room through the trees. In a place where buildings tower over the landscape in nearly every direction, it is nice to see the natural beauty of the area.
Friday: At lunch, as we have done the last couple of weeks, the office goes out for Korean food. Most of the time we go to the KATUSA Snack Bar. I had the Beef Bolgogi. It is basically strips of beef over rice. It is a nice lunch for another busy day, at the end of a busy week.
