This week began with a holiday, so I was able to get out a little bit as well as spend some regular days of work.
On Monday, I spent some time at work but then was able to enjoy the afternoon resting and playing some video games. I went to the commissary over the weekend, where I picked up a little tray to put my lunch on. I was needing some little plates, so I saw these modular little Crayola trays that work perfectly for a small lunch. Monday, I enjoyed a package of White Castle Burgers and a package of Ritz crackers.
Tuesday, I did travel outside the gate and enjoyed a Café Mocha at Holly’s Coffee. I fought off a nap by walking home. I had a wonderful day on Tuesday which was a great adventure outside the gates of Camp Red Cloud.
Wednesday, I was back at work. The day after a long weekend is always a busy day so for two of my meal, I ate at the Korean restaurant on post (KSB). Outside the door, there was a Camp Casey Firetruck (HAZMAT truck to be exact). I have been trying to catch a good photo of a firetruck for my youngest daughter, so I was happy to be able to finally get a great shot of this Firetruck built by Hyundai, a Korean car brand.
Thursday was one of those days that I was so busy that I forgot to take a photo until late in the day. But in this photo, I was happy that I was leaving work only 30 minutes past the time I had planned to leave, which was 1700 (5pm).
Friday, as I was outside I walked by the self-help store to take a photo of the wonderful garden outside the door of the store. I always enjoy seeing how nice his little garden is.
It has been a good full week back out of the field. I look forward to many more small adventures this weekend and next week!
