I’ve always been very particular about the pens I write with. In fact, if it is not the write pen…like a ball point, then I won’t write at all. This is especially true when it comes to my personal journal.
All of my journals are consistent within the book itself. And, I would say, that they are mostly all consistent within one another—except for maybe the early ones from high school and junior high. It get nervous if I even think of messing the book up with a bad pen.
With that said, I use the Pilot G-2 Rolling Ball .07 pen right now. I have changed from time to time as new products catch my eye. But, right now, I am set on this pen.
I like a pen that is easy and fast to write with and has enough ink so that I can read my writing when I’m done. Ink flow has a big part of this—it can’t be too much though—it must be just right. It also can’t be too thin—like .05 or below.
I even like that these are spring loaded.
Everyday these pens hold up to my test—I use them everywhere—if they only fit better in the sleeve of my uniform they would be perfect.
