Pizza and Pasta a little pizza restaurant about a mile from Camp Red Cloud, but tucked away in a corner away from the main traffic flow. The restaurant has become a frequent escape for me to go, enjoy a meal, and spend a little time reading.
When you walk in the restaurant the customer sees all the different types of pizzas and pastas available in a glass case under the cash register. Above the cash register is a huge menu board from where you can order. Thankfully, since I cannot read the menu, I can point to the pizza or pasta that I would like to order.
After the order is placed, the customer can walk into the dining area where there is a nice cozy selection of seats. The food is made fresh and brought to your table when it is ready.
On the particular evening I took the photos, my seat had a great vantage point to see the people coming and going from the counter. There were not many people staying to eat, but many ordering take out.
My favorite seat in the little restaurant is the ones in the corner. From this seat, it provides great privacy to be able to read without much distraction at all. The last time I visited, I was able to just hang out in this seat for a couple of hours as I read by book and nibbled on my dinner.
In addition to the coziness of the place, it would not be worth the visit if the food was not also very good. I enjoyed the Hawaiian (Pineapple and Ham) Pizza which is always a good choice at this place. The crust is very light and the flavor is a perfect mix of ham with the sweetness of pineapple. This restaurant is a perfect place to get away and enjoy good food and a quiet atmosphere.
