I’m not a gamer. I would love to be able to play video games and win once and awhile, but that would take a lot more work and time than I have. But, I do love to play the occasional game once and awhile. So, while we were unpacking our house from our move I was overjoyed when I was able to find all of the pieces to my Gameboy Advance game system.
This system includes; one Gameboy Advance handheld video game console, one wall charger, and three Gameboy cartridges—”The Sims Busting Out”, “Super Mario Brothers”, and (my personal favorite) “Donkey Kong”. There are some other stuff down in the basement like old earphones and not so great game cartridges, but I really only use what is listed above.
I especially like the size of the Gameboy Advance. It is small enough for a pocket as it folds, but big enough to handle as I play the games. I really like the only school games when I play. Basic games are best for me because they don’t take tremendous skill in learning or do they take much though as do puzzle games. I know there is the Nintendo DS system that has newer versions of these games along with many others, but the Gameboy Advance is still good enough for me—mainly because of its size and price. Why should I pay $200 to play Super Mario on Nintendo DS, when I can play it on Gameboy Advance for free?
So my challenge is for you to find that old Gameboy, charge it, and have a great time!!
