On the first broadcast day of Spring Training, I was able to watch my Cincinnati Reds win. I will have to admit that it was a great way to start the new season. Hopefully, it will be a sign of things to come.
Last year’s Reds did not end well last year, but I’m always hopeful for the next year. Maybe this is the year. I am looking forward to enjoying Baseball Season this year maybe more than any other year because there are so many new ways to enjoy baseball than ever before.
One of the biggest changes in my life last year was buying an iPad. It sounds silly at the face of it to say that a purchase of any item “changed my life”, but in this case I believe it did—particularly in the way I watch baseball. With the MLB.tv subscription, I am able to use the MLB At Bat app. This app allows me to watch all of the games on my iPad. I have had this subscription for several years before, but never had the freedom of the iPad and was locked into a place on the couch or in from of the computer or squinting to watch on my iPhone. I am also able to download the MLB Game Notes onto the iPad. These notes give me the media in brief prior to the game. I have used them before but always had to print them—now I can load them on my iPad and be ready to watch in a moment’s time. Being able to access these at any moment has given me more opportunity than ever to enjoy the new season of baseball.
I am ready for April to bring in a new season, but Spring Training is an announcement that the 2016 Baseball Season is right around the corner.
