I’ve been off the internet for about five days now, and we have nearly finished unpacking the house. The internet was installed today. Here in El Paso, we are using AT&T with DirecTV for our TV.
While searching briefly for those links, I realized that I need to update my Police Scanner for the El Paso, TX area. I’ve been wanting to get it turned on and ready. For most of it, I will be able to download the frequencies straight in, but I’ll have to program some of the weather stuff. But I digress…
I spent Friday afternoon checking in to my unit on post. I enjoyed meeting several people, but I was kind of caught off guard. I expected to wait to meet them Monday when I was a little more focused, but Fort Bliss required me to sign in from leave with the unit and not at the Welcome Center. No big deal, but it just through my expectations for a loop.
Saturday, I completely finished unpacking our bed room and the entire upstairs. It is always nice to have a place where you can go at the end of the day where it feels peaceful and not chaotic. So upstairs is complete and livable. while we may have some loose ends downstairs, we can say that our house is unpacked…enough.
