I held a Vespers service last night.
I have never been involved in one before. I am sold on the concept now.
I was resistant to the idea at first. After a little bit of research, I discovered a whole new way to lead others in worship.
The easiest way to describe a Vesper’s service is that is involves hymns and readings and is held at night.  Some would classify it as very “High Church.” It is a formal service and it is a quiet service. All of these elements are imperative to a fresh worship of God.
We need more exposure to the mystery and the holiness of Worship. It would be wonderful to see some nice classical music to be played during this service as well.
It was good to quiet in worship. It was good to take a moment to reflect. It was good to lead others to have quiet worship as well.

I would like to know more about what you did with this. It sounds cool.
