If you have read this blog for several years, you would know that I am still new to comic books. I would love to immerse myself in it, but I can’t do that as much as I’d like.
So we see in this book, The Scorpion.
The (new) Scorpion was introduced in
Amazing Spider-man 572, but begin to play a role in battling Anti-Venom in 573.
In Weapon of Destruction, the story refers to there being a previous Scorpion–which makes sense. The name is easy to deduct that it is not a band new idea. But, this is probably my first encounter with it.
I hope the writers take time to flesh this out a little more and give a little more background, so I can catch up.
But it is also interesting that the Villains of Amazing Spider-man have a habit of recreating themselves. This is different–and somewhat more unbelievable–than DC whose villains aren’t killed, but placed in one of the DC Universes many Asylums and escape or get paroled. It is an interesting thought to thin about the many ways to bring a villain back to life.
