In Green Lantern #15, the entire Justice League gets into the action. But, I have a question….
If it is against the law for Green Lantern to do heroic stuff in other countries, why is everybody else able to do their heroics everywhere? Or closer to the point, why did the Russians call the “Superfriends” out to get Green Lantern–it doesn’t makes sense.
I have never heard of the law that Johns refers to, but I may have missed it. But, Superman is everywhere. Wonder Woman is everywhere. And so is Batman. So, why do they go after Green Lantern to take him to jail? I know there’s a murder charge over his head, but they wouldn’t be involved if it were anybody else. They want to stop Green Lantern from operating outside his jurisdiction. That sounds crazy to me.
It seems that DC Comics is using this law only when they can use it to bring out a story and then ignore it the rest of the time.

That is interesting and annoying. That explains this crazy angle on the Green Lantern story. Interestingly enoug, he has already broke that law 7 times. I’m not sure that I like the Justice League playing the role of Hero Police…unfortunately this sounds more like a “Marvel Civil War” idea to me.
BTW–thanks for your input, I always appreciate it!

Well one thing your missing is the Whole 52 story line. In 52 the law comes out and no the others are not allowed to go any where. They are also limited and were not call to get hal but rather came and are in as much trouble as he is. I know your very selective in your comics and the current status quo in the the DCU is the connection between the books and characters. letme know if anything comes up that might not add out i read most of the DC books now a days
